Perfect practice makes perfect.
Danielle is a recent graduate from the University of Georgia and holds a full-time job in the Columbia County Planning Department while competing her own Diamond n the Rough at the Preliminary level. The pair are aiming for a one star later this year.
Danielle has been training and competing horses for careers in eventing, dressage, and even a few hunters for over fifteen years. Her accomplishments include winning the Tennessee State Dressage Championships at First Level with Captain of My Heart, an off the track Thoroughbred she retrained; qualifying multiple horses for the American Eventing Championships at Novice and Training; finishing in the top 5 at the Area III Championships at Training Level in 2015, with another Thoroughbred she trained herself; and multiple wins at horse trials, dressage shows, combined tests, and more.
Danielle also has years of experience as a working student for several upper level eventing barns, learning hands-on horse care and observing top riders and trainers in action, as well as volunteering often, including as a scribe to have a judge's eye view. Danielle also earned her C-3 rating from the United States Pony Clubs and was active in the Area III Young Riders program, giving her access to some of the best coaches and clinicians in the region.
Danielle works hard to pass the knowledge gained from these experiences on to her students, and to pull from these opportunities to present interesting exercises and appropriate challenges for horses and riders alike.
